Better late than later

Okay, things are getting a little personal here.

Both Portuguese and English have the saying ''better late than never.'' However, I'm creepily comfortable with the idea of never doing something — because if you never do it, you can't fail, right?

That's why I came out with the version in the title one day. It was only when I started learning English actively that I noticed the need to change my mindset.

When you are aware of the fact that you are aging, certain things get a sense of urgency. In 2020, I learned the word momentum and it's constantly reminding me to be in the present, working on perfecting my skills.

If not now, when?
