A couple of years ago, I read a book named “What is Happiness?” in Korea, which was for a “Happiness” course at Harvard University. I chose the book because I wondered how they taught happiness and how they went over the class at Harvard, and also just to read lightly. Actually, I didn’t think that anybody nor any lecture could define happiness and neither could the book. But now that I’ve read the book, I felt like I could get the hang of it, and I can practice in my daily life to get to a “happiness life.” After I came to America, I looked for the original version of that book, but there wasn’t one. Instead, I could get other books by the lecturer, Tal Ben Shahar, and now I’m reading “Choose the Life You Want”. It tells us about more practical and doable ways to get happiness in our life. I can say that if “What is Happiness?” is a sort of textbook, then this is a kind of workbook. Not only does it have good and useful content, but also it is a good source of studying English. So if I have some time, I’m trying to read the book or listen to the audiobook these days.
