I've studied English since I was a child. I was born in Brazil, so my native language is Portuguese. I have not had contact with English with the same intensity through all these years, in some moments I was more focused and others I just gave it up. As a consequence, even though I have been able to express myself in this language, I have struggled with beginners grammar. So this text idea came from my necessity to train the variety of past tenses. They always have been my weak spot.
I bet that my problem is that I did not review the grammar enough because I had already studied it. But I've tried to convince myself that we have to be continuously reviewing and training our second language skills. If we didn't train enough we end up having difficulty remembering things during talking. So my plan since last week has been to talk whenever opportunity I have and review some grammar problems that I could notice during a conversation. For instance, I wrote all these examples in this text because I had already seen my problem with the past tense, and it was an opportunity to improve it.
