Deciding on a book for the month.

So I stumbled upon Robins video about this book club, which is essentially a challenge to immerse oneself into a different language.

For now I am trying to improve my English skills. But next month I most likely will try to get a hang on one of the other languages I am trying to learn or brush up on at the moment.

The book I chose for August 2021 is "Runemarks" by Joanne M. Harris.

It is a fantasy book that will hopefully help me improve my story building skills and give me some new vocabulary to build into my own short-stories.

I am hoping to gain a broader understanding of english story telling as well as an insight into the usage of words sourrounding mythology and charakter development.

I can't wait to see how much this reading challenge will do for my language skills and plan on finding different ways to use what I learn during this read in my day-to-day life. Wheather that be through improving my written stories, retelling the story to my friends or talking about mythology in English.
