It's been a little more than six months I've decided I wanted to become a professional transcriber. In case you don't know what it is, a transcriber is a person who transcribes a video or an audio into a readable text, you can get paid by doing that and so on. However, you need to follow demanding rules as you transcribe, the better the result, the better the points you'll get, getting more seen, and having more opportunities as well. So that you can grow and make part of bigger websites, like Rev.com, TranscribeMe.com, GoTranscript, and so on.

But of course, everything needs to start somewhere, QA World, the website which pays the lowest for its transcribers, and doesn't have a lot of opportunities for new transcribers, but it's a definitely worth trying if you're new in this new world, and want to get some money as you get experience, so that you can work on more advanced websites.

Well, in this website you can get a score from 1 to 5, being 1, of course, the smallest score, for your transcription get accepted and gets you money, you need to get a score of a minimum of three, and well, I decided to give my first try yesterday, I transcribed two audios of 2.5 minutes each, if I'm not mistaken.

I got a 1 in both transcripts, lol, but you know what? That actually makes me more excited than ever! Seeing how much I still need to improve, I just imagine how my English is going to be when a 4 or a 5 be my medium score on this website, or even better, when I be able to transcribe on more known websites, such as Rev.com and so on! I am really happy for having this result, because a winner looks at the situation based on what it can be, and not based on what it is, because life is constantly changing and nothing is always the same, I will always seek the best version of myself. I made a challenge for myself, my goal is to get a score of at least three in the next transcript I make, that's why I've started studying the website FAQs and taking notes, I will update you as I move forward :)
