Robin Macpherson and the Japanese Language.

Hello everybody, how are you really doing in this beautiful day? I recommend you to read this post after watching the new video on Robin's channel: https://youtu.be/WnHQMsmIth0

In this small film, Robin shares with us something he has never really given too much attention at on his channel, Japanese, his story with this language, which is beautiful, Japanese was his first foreign language, in the beginning it wasn't even his passion, but a way of accomplishing a new dream of his back then, to be able to live in Japan, going to an university there, but throughout this journey he's fallen in love with this language, And he got to travel to Japan, getting there he was already quite fluent in Japanese, he ended up getting to such a level with Japanese friends that they called him to live with them in their apartment, and that's what happened, those were the happiest days of his life as he got deeper and deeper into the Japanese culture. However, When he finally got to study in this University which he has always dreamed about his life starting going down, everything started falling apart, Till he got to a moment where he had nowhere to live and no money, forced to go back to the US, and that's it, he hasn't spoken any Japanese at all since then, because it used to make him remember of those difficult times.

But the Japanese language, as English is for most of us, as other languages may be for you, it was beyond any other language he has ever spoken, it was a part of him, the language which he's made the more fond memories with, the language which makes him from his soul to his mind, the language which made his heart bumps like no other language could make....It was himself.

And nowadays? He has decided to get in touch with this missing part! and in his video, he said in Japanese: "It's so nostalgic to speak Japanese, it feels like when you're so close to a friend, and you two grow apart, and after years and years you get to meet each other, and it's so good, you don't want that to end, you're feeling something is happening, but you two just don't know what to say..."

"It's like meeting an old friend again, you don't what to say, you just feel it"

That is called a passion, When we give up on our passions or get away from them we feel that something is missing, that something is disconnected, and that's the feeling of getting connected to it again....Like meeting an old friend. Do you have this thing? Do you have that thing you know it's missing? that you have lost touch with? maybe not totally, but to some degree too? It's time to move on, and to start over again, because a failure is a new opportunity to start again, but this time, more wisely.

We are together in this journey called life people :)
