Having been distant from social media for a long time, I finally decided to go back to social media again. Actually, I hadn't written it off completely, but on Instagram, for example, my last post was in 2018 approximately. But in spite of I didn't post anything since then, I've been checking out some post of my favourite pages, and also using it as a complement on language-learning. I found it really helpful, especially learning new pieces of American slang and idioms. The thing is that I have to begin posting new content because I got the character that I wanted on a tv show, and they told me is absolutely necessary that I use social media, especially Instagram, because "I'm going to be a public person". I think is necessary as well, but I don't want to spent 3 hours a day interacting and studying the algorithm of Instagram in order to make my acount grow up and find new followers. I don't want to, but since I have to do it, I'm going to use that time to try out my English. The first thing that I'm going to do is write all my post in English as well as in Spanish, which will make me feel that I'm not wasting time. But after I do it, I have to establish a strategy and also an schedule for being constant posting new content on instagram. Also, due to I'm going to post all the content both in English and Spanish, I'm going to post every text here before posting it on Instagram. The reason why I'm going to do this is pretty simple, I' rather receive corrections and recommendations here than receive it there, because here there is a framework and tools that make easier the feedback, differing from instagram that only have comments. So once I write the text here and I receive all the corrections and recommendations that I need, then I just copy the entire text and paste it in the post on Instagram. Using that system I hope to improve my writing at the same time that I create new content on Instagram, making the production team of the tv show and my manager happy, meanwhile I use my time in a more productive way.
